Engadgets has published its annual ebook ranking, and while the majority of its readers are paying, the likes of Amazon, Google and Apple all have their share of ebook readers who are happy to pay for access to ebooks.
Engadgets, which ranks the world’s most popular ebooks on a scale of 1 to 10, has released its 2016 rankings for the top 50 bestsellers and top 10 most popular titles.
The best-selling ebooks are typically the most popular ones, with the top 10 being dominated by big names such as Stephen King, James Patterson and Joe Hill.
The top 20 are dominated by the top 25 books by authors like Stephen King and Michael Chabon, as well as by the titles by James Patterson.
Publishers like Penguin Random House and HarperCollins also rank books in their titles, and there are a number of indie titles in the top 20.
While there are many different ebooks out there, the top 15 books in each genre have the most readers.
